ELAINE COMARELLA, CEO
Comarella has been in the position of CEO at the
Center for Brain Injury
since 2005. She has a BS in Behavioral Science from the
of New Hampshire and a
Master’s in Business Administration from
Franklin Pierce College
in New Hampshire.
Elaine has over 25 years of experience in the Human Service
Field and 10 years experience in the management of Brain Injury
RN, Home Care Services
Tina Gregoire graduated from Monroe Community College in 1989
and began working at Highland and Strong Memorial hospital,
specializing in Intensive Care Nursing for 10 years. She then
became involved in Home Health care, working at Lifetime
Care/Excellus for many years working her way up from Case
Manager, to Senior Nurse, to Manager of Home Health. She has
spent the last several years as Director of Nursing for several
area licensed agencies, before joining the Hickok Center for
Brain Injury as the Director of Nursing for the Home Care
division, Hickok Heart.
McCLOSKEY, Director of Quality Management
McCloskey has been involved with the
Center for Brain Injury
since 2001 serving on the fundraising and auction committees, as
well as the Board of Directors.
She has over 10 years’ experience in the field of brain
has a BA with double majors in Interdisciplinary Social Science
with a concentration in Cognitive Science/Neuroscience, and
Psychology. She is
also a certified Brain Injury Specialist.
MARY ANNE PRICE,
Director of Day Programs
Price comes to the Hickok
for Brain Injury with eight years of experience in recreation
and structured day programming with adults with disabilities.
A strong advocate for disability rights, Mary Anne is
committed to creating a more accessible and equitable community.
She feels strongly about working with individuals with
disabilities in an environment which fosters independence and
LISA WALZER, Service
Lisa Walzer comes to the Hickok Center with almost 10 years of
experience working with individuals with brain injuries and
chronic illnesses. Lisa has her BS with double majors in
Psychology and Humans Services with a concentration in Alcohol
and Substance Abuse counseling. She also has almost 15 years of
volunteer experience through the Greece Little League Challenger
division working with children with developmental disabilities
so that they are able to play baseball.
Helen Wilkins has worked
at the Hickok Center for Brain Injury in the finance department
since 2007. She graduated from Le Moyne College in 2005 with her
BS where she majored in Business administration with minors in
Finance & Economics. Helen is currently pursuing her Masters in
Business Administration at St. John Fisher College. Helen began
her career at the center as an accounting clerk and was promoted
to Finance Manager in 2009. Helen finds the time she spends at
the Hickok Center to be the most gratifying accomplishment over
